Know which SAT you are taking
The standard SAT Weekend tests Reading and Writing and Math. School Day administrations can differ under state or district arrangements, including an Essay. Accommodations can also affect the schedule and format.
Writing skills still matter
Standard English Conventions and Expression of Ideas are part of SAT Reading and Writing. Practice sentence boundaries, agreement, transitions, and revising text to meet a stated goal.
A college application essay is a separate task with its own prompts and rules. Do not confuse an application essay requirement with whether your SAT administration includes an Essay.
